Vintage Silverplate Hinged Covered Serving Dish – Scalloped Oval

Elegant vintage silverplate serving dish featuring a scalloped oval body, permanently hinged domed lid and decorative leaf-form handle.

The interior retains a bright reflective silver finish, while the exterior has developed substantial darkened patina and oxidation that gives the piece wonderful aged character. The hinged construction allows the lid to remain attached while serving.

A beautiful piece for entertaining, holiday tables, buffet styling or simply displaying with a collection of vintage silver.
